Sunday Best (Part 1), She sells sea shells

Hey fashionistas! Jackie O. here and I’m back with another post. Last Sunday I couldn’t decide on what to wear to church. Most of the time I tend to forget what I have, because I have so many clothes!!! I had very little time to do my makeup and get dressed so I had to think of something fast. Although it was a gorgeous sunny morning, the wind chill outside was at 30 mph so I definitely wanted to be warm.

That morning I was feeling some kind of nude vibe because I had recently purchased the lingerie matte lipstick collection from NYX cosmetics . So I wanted an outfit that was going to compliment my neutral makeup look. After shuffling through my clothes, I actually came up with two looks. For the first look, which was the one I wore to church. I wore a cream ruffled blouse (find similar) from H&M that I bought on sale in Germany. I was so ecstatic when this shell  statement neckpiece came back in stock last summer (2016) at H&M. While shopping with a friend the previous summer, we both came across it and with no hesitation she bought it. I was being too cheap to buy it at the time. A couple of weeks later I saw her wearing it and I immediately fell in love with it. I went back to the store and it was sold out everywhere! Praise Jesus! Summer 2016 it came back in stock and I was lucky enough to have found one. Although its sold out at the moment, I was able to find a similar one on Etsy shell collar necklace  .

I wasn’t trying to steer away from the neutral palette, so I made sure my accessories were nude too. I wore a nude wool gaucho pants  (similar) that I got from Zara seasons ago.  Quilted Link chain cross-body bag is from Aldo. On sale now on their site, get it while it’s  hot!

Got these cute round toe Ralph shoes from my sis Christina, and I since I haven’t worn them yet, I decided to wear em with the look. Get a similar pair in faux suede at Tj-max for only $19.99.

Stay tuned for part 2 of this look. Until then continue to keep it versatile! XOXO….Jackie O.
